IT IS SUCH A CACOPHONY, FULL OF SHARP,
UNPLEASANT CLUMPS OF THOUGHTS ABOUT MY LIFE, THAT VERY FEW PEOPLE, I THINK,
WILL PROBABLY BE ABLE TO STAND IT EVEN ONCE, LET ALONE READ IT AGAIN.
A MIXTURE OF SCREAMS, SQUEALS, AND WHEEZES.
THIS IS MY REFLECTION, COLLECTED FROM MY MEMOIRS, STARTING FROM THE AGE OF 14 AND UP TO THE LAST WRITINGS AT THE AGE OF 17. I DEDICATE THIS WORK TO MYSELF AS A GIFT AND AS MY DEBUT AS A MANGAKA AT THE AGE OF 18.
The Rift

Yoshitoro is just a kid who tries to act strong, but inside he’s carrying something heavier than most adults ever face. He laughs, he messes around, he gets scared but there’s a guilt in him that he doesn’t talk about.
This story follows his life as he slowly understands who he is, what he’s done, and what he might become. It’s not just about fighting or monsters it’s about a boy trying to live with his past while the world around him keeps demanding more.
Yoshitoro’s journey isn’t clean or perfect. It’s messy, painful, warm, and sometimes hopeful… like real life.
