Barnstormer and The Harvest of the Sampo
When Warren Hank - the most famous Barnstormer in all of Midwest America - surprisingly walks away alive and unscathed from a plane crash that should have killed him, it rattles him to his core.
With a second chance at life (and a somewhat existential crisis), he takes on the alias “Barnstormer”. And with his significant (or not so significant other) Winter, Warren searches for answers on why he survived, helping those in need along the way.
The duo is called to Matteville, West Virginia, where a horrific being known as the Nar Wight has been terrorizing the struggling and downtrodden citizens of the town, searching for a special device that was “stolen” from him - an ancient artifact that provides great wealth to whoever possesses it.
Barnstormer and Winter uncover some startling revelations, but alas! They were captured and beaten by the Nar Wight. Discovering the lowly farmer behind his dilemma, the Nar Wight moves to destroy him and everything he loves dear.
But not if Barnstormer has anything to say about it . . .
