ROTTEN APPLE
Imagine Cowboy Bebop, but with grunge instead of jazz, and it’s directed by Sam Raimi, but also it’s a comic book.
Rotten Apple is a science fiction action/comedy/horror/drama/whatever set in the stagnant future of the 2990s AD. Disgraced ex-cop, ex-model, and ex-con Lena Salter and escaped undead bioweapons experiment Henrik Herzog want revenge on the United Space Corporation, but a two-man assault on the CEO of life doesn’t come cheap. They'll have to contend with pirates, rogue troopers, uncharted worlds, anomalies, alien horrors, interpersonal relationships, and the long arm of the Company as they scrape and scrabble through odd jobs, mercenary contracts, alien salespersons, and The Horrors™ just to make ends meet.
"It's like RoboCop in space." - my buddy Alex
“They already have that. It’s called Total Rekall.” - me
Updates whenever my day job allows for it.
Rated TV-MA for strong language, graphic action/horror violence, and adult themes. Maybe some (comedic) nudity later on, we’ll see.
