Old Salt Comics gets its name related to the content that will be released that focuses on pirates. An old salt is an experienced sailor or pirate who has been at sea so long that he is "Salty". The goal is to release short series of comics that focus on a fictional Crew Known as The Siler Tears. A ragtag group of misfits that all have their own personal struggles.

Tavian Tales of the Mythical Seas, this chapter focuses on discovering the mythical world of Tavian through the lens of Holeman Godfrey, an orphan who was kidnapped by pirates and forced into a life of piracy. Throughout Holeman's journey, he interacts with god's, mythical creatures, and other chimera-breed creatures. Meanwhile, the gods fight over territory and their beliefs.
