So much to say about this update!
First of all, I don't remember the barman in the previous intro and he's cute asf! Also he's read through Friedrich like there's gay written all over him, they look like great buddies, maybe more ? Hopefully (δΊΊ β’Να΄β’Ν) Also Friedrich sweetie you clearly had more than 3 shots :[ and that's no excuse to leave your man just standing there! You're lucky he runs after your silly ass! Also how come they can't go to Alains place :( ? Sweet how they call Friedrich's "our home though" β’^β’
Love the bird foreshadowing and the ref to the painting, hope they really do run away because they haven't yet β’Μ βΏ ,β’Μ
Love how they manage to cheer each other up even with such dire "rumours" around.

I just found your comic while looking at the WWI tag on this site and so far oh I love it so much!! (Even though I know the horrors will soon come for our boys...) I did want to ask, though, did you mean to have the scene starting with Friedrich's mother saying she'll miss him in here twice? It looks like the same set of panels, so I wondered if it was an accidental duplicate, or if it was repeated for dramatic effect?

@aceredshirt13: Well thank you!! and yeah it was intentional^^ she's quite emotional during those "last days" with her son and well, Ludwig too but in... his own way >^<
