This comic is a modern retelling of the myth of Arachne, inspired by Nikolai Kuhn’s version of the story.
It follows Arachne, a talented fashion designer who challenges Athena and questions the beauty standards imposed by the industry. Their conflict explores ideas of beauty, self-expression, and the pressure to fit established ideals. The story mixes classical mythology with a contemporary fashion world and a playful sense of irony.
Ultimately, Arachne chooses to embrace her own identity rather than conform to someone else’s definition of beauty.
