In a world split by a fragile veil, yokai spirits born from fear, desire, and chaos slip into the human realm through cracks that grow wider each year. To stop them, Seirei Academy trains chosen students to master the arts of yokai combat.
Kyoki Hero, a boy with no rank, no recognition, and a name buried in bloodstained history, is denied entry. But when a sudden attack forces him to fight, he awakens an ability thought impossible: the power to Reforge yokai arts, turning their curses into weapons of his own.
Now caught between students who see him as a fraud, leaders who fear his bloodline, and enemies who crave the chaos within him, Kyoki must carve his place in a war where both humans and yokai wonder—
Is he humanity’s weapon… or its next disaster?
