I was wanting to do a slice of life comic for a bit. I had been reading "Transmetropolitan" and watching "Fututama" when I decided to do something cyberpunk but a bit more cartoony.
The robot stuff was largely inspired by the movie "Robots", specifically the use of outdated robots as a metaphor for disability.
I like taking real life events/experiences, exaggerating them to comedic effect, and then viewing them through the lens of sci fi. The next issue is gonna be about Street Cleaning Day.
