I’ve officially decided to rename Bobo & Popo as Masatsu (friction) in reference to the geopolitical themes in the comic. All Bobo & Popo will soon be removed and replaced with a newer, and longer, Masatsu Vol. 1.

Bobo & Popo Volume 1 is complete and ready for sale or reading on Gold! Chs 8 and 11 are available free to read as previews. Volume 2 will be released incrementally, with all chapters being replaced with a single release when the volume is finished. Chapter 14 will reappear and Chapter 15 will be released soon!

Starting with Chapter 15 of Bobo and Popo and my next one-shot, I’m not gonna be drawing backgrounds anymore. It’s too elaborate and time-consuming to do so, given that I want both works to take place in the “real world”.

I’m going to be using pictures or snapshots from Google Maps, drain the color, and tone them instead.

This is why my comics are taking so long.

Chapter 14 of Bobo & Popo is done, with just finishing touches needed before publishing. However, due to the nature of my current job schedule, which is project based, I will need some more time before I can publish the new chapter.
