It is not entirely wrong Flare didn't notice the rune attrition earlier. On the other paw a replacement from a mistake feels harsh as it's not the mistake what makes you good or bad but how you react to it and that is a lot more important in the long run.

@Comixgalore: Lumeniel doesn't care about any animal neglect, more about their presence and quantity. As long as the runes are maintained the prison can be left for short periods. She's more concerned about an absence so soon after a containment failure (despite its repair).
