A bit of early 2000s edgelord rhetoric aside, I thought this was absolutely fantastic and rich as a book. I wouldn’t put it on the same level as the best comics I’ve read (e.g., Watchmen, Batman: Year One, etc.), but it’s still a really solid book on what would happen if superheroes were part of an idiocracy that ruled over us all - especially in THIS global geopolitical environment where things seem to be happening in a manner that is motivated more by power trips, corruption and ego rather than sinister policy movements. A fascinating set of volumes - and Dear Becky is the perfect capper to top the series.
