It has been close to three years now since the upload of Our Home; Eternal chapter 4. I have been chipping away at it, and honestly, it's close to being released. The entire arc is outlined, the first chapter is scripted, and now I'm working on visual development such as character design, drawing a map, and right now: architecture design. It took this long, as I actually rebuilt from the ground up! Harmonia will be familiar in many ways, but it will also be clear it spent a lot more time in the oven.

My goal is to start releasing at some point this year. I'm completing some unrelated projects, and I likely won't be able to make progress on this month, but just know it is in the horizon. Once those projects are completed, though, I will definitely be on the comic dev grind.

I'm honestly proud of how it has grown over the years. My illustration skills have grown, my writing has refined, and so much more.

Also, thank you to the individual who added the archived edition to their library and followed this account! I'm honored you loved the original draft enough to consider it worthy of saving. I hope you will love what I have been cooking even more.

I have popped on to sift through the old comic to see what the art is like since I remembered this website exists, and holy crap-

Anyone who may be seeing this post don't realize it yet, but I have improved so much since. It's honestly wild to look back at the first version of Our Home; Eternal and see where I was from where I am now.

I knew that something about the comic wasn't quite up to snuff at the time, and I think it simply wasn't time for it to come out yet. My skills needed a little more time in the oven. And oh boy, with art, a year is a crazy amount of time in the oven!

The outline for the story I want to tell is nearly complete, and once I get a third draft hatched down, I will be doing the scripts. I doubt the people who gave the first version a shot is going to ever expect what I have been cooking.

Also, thank you to the many people who did give it a shot, especially if you come to this profile and see this message: I hope you at least got some laughter from my lack of skills at the time. I ultimately want to bring joy to the world and give people something they would enjoy, even if that enjoyment is ironic.

Anyways, if you want to see what I've been up to, just look up things along the lines of "Dextive Studios" and "Echo Dextive," I'm pretty consistent with my username. I'm no longer active on Newgrounds. It just never worked out lmao-

I notice that my comic gets a boost in views every so often, so I'll put this here for anyone who checks out my profile:

I'm working on an improved version, since I wasn't happy with the quality of the original, and the pilot didn't seem to be hooking. The old comic is up for archival purposes, but my drawing skills have improved since chapter five.

If you want to keep up to date, I'm active on Tumblr, Reddit, Pixiv, Newgrounds, Tiktok and Medibang. Most of them are DextiveStudios, except for Newgrounds which is Boulwerk, which was created before I started consistently naming myself DextiveStudios.
