Pretty cool… not sure I understood all the semi profound talks talk. Reminded me of the matrix architect.

@AlucardC99: Finally giving this groundbreaking classic a read. I remember the iconic cover with a distraught Superman holding Supergirls lifeless body. Thinking it might be a little too much(I was 6 yrs old) I ironically chose a reprint of Amazing Spider-Man 121-122 for that camping trip!

Good read, the emotional moments really hit (I nearly cried when Supergirl died), cool new characters (the new Dr Light grew on me as the story progressed) and great payoffs. I especially love the happy endings given to the team left in the Antimatter universe and WW. But I will say that, as is common with all the older comics, there's so much repetition in the dialogue and thought bubbles, as well as things being said in said bubbles that didn't need to be said. (That's a lot of saids) Anyway, it's a feature of the time but it did make some moments drag on. Overall though, lovely read

I'm loving the Jim Aparp art here! Mike Barr's story is pretty good too, in most parts.

He can beat up Abyss but not the man who created him, he really is a punk, that's why Alfred is dead
