Scratch

While reveling in the clichés of monster movies, it focuses on the bond between a girl (Miko) and her unlikely new friend (who happens to be as big as a house). To make matters worse, Scratch, the kaiju in question, attracts the attention of both the military and monsters. How they overcome their opponents and their painful experiences is what the book is about.
