EPISODE 04 — THE INTRUDER
Zane discovers a mysterious stranger secretly entering the restricted basement of the military facility and approaching a powerful machine. Realizing that the intruder is about to activate it, Zane abandons his plan to immediately press the alarm and suddenly attacks him.
The stranger, dressed completely in black with his face hidden, proves to be highly skilled and confronts Zane. He taunts him as a “little chick” and reveals a concealed wrist blade. Zane tries to defend himself, but the stranger is faster. After a brief struggle, Zane manages to strike him and push him back, but the stranger counters with tremendous force, sending Zane crashing into a table and leaving him temporarily unconscious.
Believing Zane is no longer a threat, the stranger approaches the mysterious machine. He opens its control panel, inserts an unknown device, and activates the system. The machine suddenly begins powering up, filling the basement with a powerful mechanical vibration.
But the stranger is suddenly shocked when the emergency alarm erupts throughout the facility. Zane, despite being weakened, had managed to reach the alarm and activate it.
Red emergency lights flash across the entire base as soldiers rush toward the basement. The intruder attempts to escape through a window, but Zane throws a screwdriver that strikes his shoulder. The stranger escapes into the darkness before the soldiers can capture him.
Zane then notices a dangerous countdown on the machine. With only seconds remaining, he crawls toward the controls, pulls himself up using the machine's support frame, and desperately reaches the shutdown button.
At the final second—
CLICK.
The machine powers down.
