Still Looking for Letters
Read the first issue of Alma for free and write us a letter and you could have it published in the first issue when we do our Kickstarter later this year.

Letters Page
I'm looking to do a letters page in Alma and need letters to be able to do this.  I'm offering the first issue for free here.  I'd appreciate anyone reading it and dropping me a letter at [email protected].  Thanks.

Letters Page
Hey to everyone here, I'm really liking this site and am slowly putting up most of my comics.  Hopefully, I'll get them all up eventually.  I have Alam up right now for free.  I want as many people as I can get to read it.  It's my "What if Buffy was a 72-year-old Grandmother?" comic for a simple one-line description.  Later in the summer, I'm going to do a Kickstarter to print the issue.  One of the features I want to have in the issue is a letter page.  I would greatly appreciate anyone that wants to write a letter about the comic to do so.  And there's a good chance you'll get it printed in the issue of Alma.  You can do it here or email it to me at dieboldcomics.com.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Introduce Your Comic and You! (Old Thread)
I just made Alma The Champion free for everyone to read. Here's a brief description of the comic:

What if Buffy was a 72-year-old Grandmother?

Alma Bernard is in her garden when she is struck by the power of the champion and reborn. Coming to her aid is the Eternal Companion, born this life as a foul-mouthed garden gnome.

Alma is charged with fighting the demons and monsters that inhabit our world and keeping the world safe from such terrors.

Aiding her in this fight beside Tyrone, her garden gnome companion will be the ghost of her dead husband and her 15-year-old granddaughter Katie.

Comic Book Podcasts
I'm trying to get the word out about my comics.  What are some good podcasts out there about comics?  Mainly podcasts that at least include indie comics.   I'm looking for podcasts that will do reviews of indie comics, but even more, so that will include interviews with indie creators.  It's hard to find a good list of such podcasts.

Re: Introduce Your Comic and You! (Old Thread)
Hey to everyone,
I just joined and hoping to put up a bunch of my comics on the site. My name is John Holland I've been writing comics for a long time. I'm mostly self publishing nowadays, but will still go to other publishers too.

In fact, It's Alive Comics is publishing my A Girl and Her Dog this coming July. Tony Isabella, the creator of Black Lighting called it one of the best comics of this year.

Anartatic Press is going to put out my Two Tons of Fury in December. This comic is a lot of fun and brings back Herbie and Fatman the Human Flying Saucer for a showdown.

I've put up the first issue of Alma here, and am hard at work on the second issue now, with the script with the artist who is busy drawing it. Alma answers the question "What if Buffy was a 72 year old Grandmother?"

You can find it here.

I've also posted my comic Voodoo which is a history and comic featuring some stories of Marie Laveau.

It's here.
