Description

All rates are negotiable but I would love to assist anyone looking for an artist/illustrator on your project.  I put page rates, but if you have other forms of compensation, I'm open to hearing you out.  I always hope to give the most professional product in a timely manner for your project.

All page rates are based on 1 page per 48 hours.  Any faster will result in lower-quality art.  If quality is not needed, I can accommodate a different time and rates.

All projects need to express the scope of the project.  I need to know how many pages you need, how many panels per page, and what your deadlines are.  Remember faster deadlines yield less quality artwork.

I will conduct 3 edits per page, or 1 edit per panel if your project is a storyboard.  I do not count things like missing objects or incorrectly drawing a page as edits.  (For example, you ask for a dinosaur with no tail, and I draw a tail, that's not an edit, and I will fix that issue) An example of an edit is your script calls for 2 people facing off in a gunfight, and you then say you want the people switched or the perspective changed.  I will only redraw an entire page 1 time, and remember the more you request edits, the harder it will be to make deadlines.

All work will require a contract, and if the investor is not domestic (US) I will need payment upfront.  If you are domestic, I can work with a simple contract and payment in stages that accommodate your needs.  An example could be paying me 1/3 up front, 1/3 in the middle, and 1/3 at the end of the project.

All pencil/Ink page work needs to have artistic concepts and a script ready for me to utilize.  Conceptualizing your art and story is a different job.

If I take on multiple roles or you request the services of my partner to write/letter your story a negotiated page rate can be discussed.

If you only need me for the role of penciler or inker (not both) for a small project (I.e. a short storyboard or less than a 10-page comic) I can negotiate page rates.

If you wish to revenue share please provide a business evaluation, current and past projects and their profitability, cost analysis and projected profit of your current project, and what advertising/marketing you already have for your merchandise.  If you wish for me to conceptualize your artwork, I am requesting a revenue share on any intellectual property for your project in any future use.  In other words, if I am creating your "Spiderman", then I will receive a revenue share on any merchandise, advertising, artwork, etc. that involves the intellectual property I created for you.
