Description
Hi, I’m an independent creator developing a long-form Webtoon project. The story is fully written and structured in a vertical scrolling format, totaling approximately 1,499 panels.I’m looking to collaborate with a developmental editor experienced in Webtoon or vertical-scroll storytelling to strengthen the project before moving forward.
My goal is to refine the story for a mobile-first Webtoon audience by improving:
• Overall story clarity and structure
• Character motivation, consistency, and arcs
• Dialogue readability and emotional impact
• Reader engagement throughout the series
Because this project is designed specifically for Webtoon-style reading, I’m especially looking for help with:
• Vertical scroll pacing and rhythm
• Panel flow and visual storytelling clarity
• Placement of reveals, beats, and cliffhangers
• Identifying sections that feel too dense, rushed, or slow
Experience with Webtoon, Tapas, or other vertical comic formats is strongly preferred.

• Length: 1,499 panels (approximately 150-page equivalent)
• Status: Fully written and structured
• Editing focus: Developmental (not proofreading)
I will begin with a paid sample edit (20–40 panels) to evaluate fit and working style. If the collaboration is successful, I plan to continue with a larger engagement covering the full project in phases.
This is an original, unpublished project currently in development. Sample panels or script excerpts can be shared with selected candidates during the paid sample phase.
