Character Designs $10/design None 49 characters total; paid when invoice ≥ $100
Scale Pages $50/page None Paid when invoice ≥ $100
Guaranteed Total Pay:
• Penciler: $4140 + $1035 bonus = $5175
• Colorist: $2070 + $1035 bonus = $3105
• Inker: $1035 + $207 bonus = $1242
• Letterist: $828 + $207 bonus = $1035
• Character Designs: 49 × $10 = $490

Terms & Expectations
• Work-for-hire agreement
• Payment only for completed chapters
• Publisher retains all rights and final approval
• Failure to complete a chapter forfeits payment for that chapter

Role Descriptions
Penciler
• Translate script into sequential pencil layouts
• Ensure character consistency, panel clarity, and composition
• Collaborate on character scale sheets and design iterations
• Incorporate feedback and revisions
• Eligible for $1035 completion bonus
Inker
• Ink penciled pages with clean, expressive linework
• Preserve clarity and energy of original pencils
• Prepare pages for coloring
• Eligible for $207 completion bonus
Colorist
• Apply flat and rendered color to inked pages
• Establish mood, lighting, and palette consistency
• Deliver layered files suitable for lettering
• Eligible for $1035 completion bonus
Letterist
• Place dialogue, captions, and sound effects
• Maintain legibility and visual harmony
• Proofread and format final page files
• Eligible for $207 completion bonus
Illustrator
• Create character turnarounds, expression sheets, and promotional art
• Contribute splash pages, cover art, and worldbuilding visuals
• Paid per piece, based on complexity and scope
• May also serve as Penciler, Colorist, or Designer

Multi-Role Eligibility
Artists may take on multiple roles if qualified. For example:
• A Penciler may also serve as Inker
• A Colorist may also handle Lettering
• An Illustrator may contribute to Character Designs and Sequential Art
Compensation is calculated per role, and multi-role contributors will receive combined payments and bonuses accordingly.
