War of the Worlds

The war is over... But the horror continues. Earth is still recovering from the Martian attack which has left the world a barren wasteland. Disease, famine and alien impact to the environment has left Mankind in a desperate situation. Despite what is left, the government are performing experiments deep Underground on what is salvaged from the Martians. Willing to go as far as necessary, to discover and use alien secrets and technology. But will human arrogance lead to something much worse than before?
