Daichi recalls the night Haven nursed him through Mauvine Fever, her calm strength, her bite that flushed the illness, and the trust between them that killed any trace of lust. That memory fuels him in the present as he faces Senan, a blood-drunk, self-regenerating monster who worships death and mocks Haven. Their battle tears through factories and towers, Senan rebuilding himself every time he’s destroyed. Realizing normal strength won’t cut it, Daichi taps into a forbidden Ascension Pathway. He unleashes his incomplete True Enhancement, a dragon-shaped annihilation cannon fused to his arm. Senan finally feels fear, too late. Daichi fires a single dragon blast that vaporizes him and shatters the battlefield. The recoil chars half of Daichi’s body, and he collapses whispering Haven’s name.
