In modern Japan, where forgotten traditions still echo, the veil
between the physical and spiritual worlds begins to unravel. Ryu, a
young man marked by a spiritual power he barely understands, and
Mitsune, a girl whose gifts have been sealed by childhood trauma, are
drawn into an invisible war against yokai and dark forces that
threaten both realms.
Along their journey, they will meet allies such as Senzo, a young man
torn between two origins, and Sayuri, a powerful empath caught
between her desire to ease others’ pain and the burden of absorbing
it herself. From modern streets to sacred temples, they must awaken
hidden abilities, face relentless enemies, uncover truths that could
change their fate forever — and, above all, overcome their own fears
