"This Machine Kills Fascists" is a message that American folk singer Woody Guthrie scrawled on his guitar in the mid 1940s as a reaction to the rise of global fascism. Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, nationalist political ideology and movement, characterized by an autocratic leader, militarism, forcible suppression of free speech and control of the free press.
