Óscar Ramírez, turning eighteen, shares a birthday with his abuelo Ishmael and honors him with a traditional hikuri dance. Stunned, Óscar learns he’s a chispa, a shaman who can bend reality and spark visions. As oil is found in the local park, the municipality plans to sell it, threatening the community’s gathering place. Óscar must wield his newfound powers to save the park from destruction.
