When she was 18 years old, Sylvia Sloane had an encounter with a powerful ghost/demon hybrid that killed her and her family. However, through an unknown force, she was resurrected and given a second shot at life. She soon discovered she can make her living body enter a "death stasis" at will and project her own ghost into the spiritual plane. Shaken but determined, Sylvia discovered she's comprised of energy far beyond that of the average spirit, and uses this power to right wrongs and dispatch of evil spirits, demons and other etherial undesirables.
