The Republic may seem like your typical sub-Saharan state in East Africa, with the fictional capital known as 'Kanairo,' which takes hold of most of the action, from skyrocketing violent crime, a corrupt system, social injustices, and, of course, authorities clashing with vigilantes and all who are considered 'enemies of the state'.
