Issue 1
The Recount #1
After the assassination of a U.S. President, the conspirators turn their sights on all who helped him get into power. By this, they mean to kill everyone who helped him ascend to the presidency-including the ordinary citizens who elected him, essentially plunging the entire country into civil war. Meanwhile, the vice president, one of the few survivors of the executive branch, struggles to prevent the nation from descending into chaos.
Issue 2
The Recount #2
Just after being sworn in as President of the United States, Meredith McDearmon discovers a plot to execute the Electoral College. Special Agent Barto and her race to save one of the members before The Masses get to him first. In the meantime, everyday American citizens are beginning to take matters into their own hands.
Issue 3
The Recount #3
Shortly after arriving at The White House, Special Agent Barto must interrogate the rest of the Secret Service to determine who they can and cannot trust. At the same time, tensions on American streets are boiling over, as everyday citizens blame each other for the turmoil that the nation is currently faced with. During all this, The Masses are plotting their next attack while the mystery leader pays a visit to a former president.
Issue 4
The Recount #4
Alone inside the White House, President McDearmon and Special Agent Barto receive unwanted visitors. While Barto defends the Executive Mansion from dangerous intruders, civil unrest erupts across the nation, manifesting itself with blood and violence in the streets of Macon, Georgia. Regardless of the outcomes, this nation will never be the same.
