The Ironwood Rangers' Guild is in trouble. Membership is dwindling, money is running out, and Guild Master Garrick Thorn only needs four more Rangers to keep the guild alive. Unfortunately, the four recruits who arrive may be the least qualified adventurers in history. Bran is confident, optimistic, and almost never correct. Taka is a brilliant goblin scholar burdened with the knowledge that nobody listens to him. Miri is a one-big-winged harpy whose solution to most problems involves crashing through them. Pip is a tiny fairy with sticky fingers and an alarming talent for finding trouble. Together, they form the newest Ranger team. Whether they're arguing over how words are spelled, misunderstanding basic instructions, accidentally buying cursed equipment, or somehow surviving situations they have no business surviving, the group stumbles from one disaster to the next while driving everyone around them completely insane. Especially Garrick. As the Rangers take on increasingly dangerous quests, strange mysteries begin to emerge, ancient forces awaken, and the kingdom slowly discovers that these four misfits may be more important than anyone realizes. The problem is that nobody—including the Rangers themselves—has figured that out yet. The Rangers' Gilde is a fantasy adventure comedy about friendship, terrible decisions, cursed artifacts, accidental heroism, and one exhausted guild master's struggle to keep his organization from collapsing. Some heroes save the world through courage. Some save it through skill. These heroes mostly save it by accident.
