The year is 2002. Seventeen year old Monroe Félix has had a hard life. She drinks to cope, and even though things are bad, they're about to get much worse. David Black is a rich kid, and Monroe has caught his eye. Soon they begin a tumultuous love affair, but what Monroe doesn't know is that Dave is playing a game, where Monroe will always be the loser.

his abuse is endless. his words mean nothing though, he doesn't amount to anything at all. why listen to drivel from a nobody?
