Aharu, last of the elves, travels the land using her unique ability to send spirits back from whence they came. Shien Hohzuki, a traveling adventurer, uses her power of spirit butchery to destroy supernatural threats...and searches for the vengeful spirit who cursed every member of the Hohzuki bloodline to die when they turn twenty. They quickly become allies and friends, solving one case of spirit mischief after another, but destiny may have other plans for them.
