The battle of Atropatene behind him, Prince Arslan leaves the army to his vassals and makes his way to the royal capital with Daryun and company in tow. En route he reunites with Tahamenay, who reveals his true parentage. Meanwhile, Hilmes finds his own claims to the throne knocked askew when Andragoras lays bare the secrets of the royal lineage.
