A glass spider falls from the highest cliff on Miranda, a moon of Uranus. He has ten minutes of consciousness before impact. As he falls, fragments of his past flicker through his glass body: the Soviet laboratory, the rainy awakening, the hunger for data, the decision to seek solitude among the stars. With seconds left, a strange spaceship catches him. Its pilot, Takismana - a sarcastic, energetic drifter with mirror glasses and no clear origin pulls him aboard. Together, they begin an unlikely partnership, that will lead them both into the heart of The Disrupt.
