The Betrayal

Nicolae, a young shepherd from the village of Svet, begins his day as usual, but today is different. His mentor, master shepherd, and parental figure, Old Man Vasile, tells him they must part ways. Ovidiu’s world is turned upside down by the news that Vasile is about to be unfairly imprisoned. Though demoralized, Nicolae refuses to give up and sets off on a journey to save his master’s honor, accompanied by the 47 sheep left in his care.
