Chapter 2: Elusive Star
Leira Orta managed to lose the Blades of Oa by setting an entire festival ablaze. Now she needs to get out of the city of Jaixia in Procoline Kingdom and head to the Kingdom of Shehroz. The best way is via the Hyperspeed rail system. An unlikely ally gives her a little tip to lead her on the way but the tattoo of that ally brings up haunting memories.
Meanwhile, Xolani Abraham and Micah Ido are still on her trail, but they've a plan to intercept Leira. They just need to set those plans into motion.
Above it all, in the Seat of Power, Director Xavier Nib meets with General Bourne Orta to discuss Leira's capture and the unfolding plans. Then Xavier meets with someone close to him, someone who needs him to keep tabs on the General.
But how did it all begin? Leira recalls the memories, her discovery of the star, and the man whose death she is blamed for and set all of this in motion: Saul Menfer.

I'm wondering how exactly the stars, constellations etc. work in their world? Like, actually influence phisical laws? Or magic powers? Or more like zodiac, people just believe in them?

@JCCOMIX: I'm glad you asked! More info about them comes up in Chapter 3 and onwards BUT I'm also making a stand alone Appendix that goes into more detail about stuff like the Celestial Constellation. But the stars affect everything, from magick to how and why plants and animals move or grow the way they do. And one of the biggest things they affect is the Deep Red Moon. So even just 1 little star showing up out of nowhere is enough to start affecting everything in a bad way. :D

@ThePrizeWinningSquid: so it's not like this star existed but people missed it? it had just appeared like that?

@JCCOMIX: Right, it suddenly showed up. The Constellation has been set in stone for a couple thousand years, so stars just kind of drifting a little. But this one suddenly showed up.
