Along the way he will encounter friends and rivals, all who he seeks to gain respect from. Although, not everyone he meets is as willing to play into his flamboyant ideologies. Throughout his years, he is the target of a great hunter known as the Lord of Bones. This hunter wishes not to see him as a rival, but more of a great prize. As Jacob races other Pirates to have reign over the Wretched Isles, the Lord of Bones seeks only to claim him as a trophy. The Wretched Isles are aptly named, even the closest of friends that Jacob has are indeed Wretched beings, including Jacob himself. For him to get to the top, he must endure an endless enclave of enemies and the obscene horrors of the ocean herself. Unveiling the truth of Jacob Wellan’s life, showcasing him as a good man... and an even better Pirate.
