After nine years, twenty-six year old Monroe Felix exits an abusive relationship with longtime boyfriend Dave Black. Shortly after she gets a life changing diagnosis of bipolar disorder, PTSD, and alcoholism. As this happens, Monroe meets fifty-one year old producer Darcy Hart. The two start a love affair, but thanks to Dave's interference things start off chaotic. Refusing to move on, Dave continues to lurk in the shadows of Monroe's life, tormenting her at every turn.
it's good she has a friend to tell her how it is. it's also great that she has the ability to open up despite the previous toxic relationship. I hope her and the producer gets along well. it looks like things will be nicer for her.
