Release #66 - STRAVA #66

The fanzine was created in December 2016 as a digital collection of works by participants of the Valjevo Comics and Animation Workshop and a way to promote their work. In the summer of 2017, issues two and zero were published both in print and digital, alongside issue with a physical edition of issue one, and starting with the third and fourth issues of 2018, the fanzine will continue to be published simultaneously in both versions. As part of the “STRAVA Fest” in 2019, the fifth issue was published, and the sixth in November of the same year, in which the fanzine shared the title with the “Black Blot” fanzine, which had previously ceased publication in 2010. In December 2019 and January 2020, through the “Z!N” newsletter, issues seven and eight were published, and from January 2021, it continues to be published monthly. The fanzine contains original comics by members of the workshop (and beyond), various reports on the engagements of the workshop, as well as news from domestic areas, regarding comics and animation.

In this issue, we talk to film and television director and screenwriter, as well as comic book screenwriter - Milan Konjević! From the "Generacija Tesla" and "Borci sumraka", the beginning of the publishing house "Luxor comics" and its influence on the production company "Loudworks", the magazine "Boomerang" and the television "Ultra", through the revival of the universe through "Faktor 4" and "Divlja magija", unrealized animated adaptations, ending with the writing of the screenplay for the feature television version of the heroes that saw the light of day 30 years ago... This article represents the second part of the essay "My School of Comics", which was started in the previous issue, and from the comics, the continuations of the new series "Bork" by Ivana Havran, as well as "Spiral Highway" and "Witches' Quarter."
