It’s the dawn of a new era for humanity: an encounter of the fourth kind has been made with an advanced alien species known as the Eo’Tarx, and the two civilizations embark on a path toward mutual understanding. For this classified mission, CIA linguist Danko Orton is recruited to analyze their interspecies communication alongside an Eo’Tarx counterpart by the name of No’mi. Under the pressure of governmental cross-examination, their mission to bridge their cultures quickly takes on a dangerous dimension when they are forced to confront their attraction to one another.
