Spirits Unbound tells the story of Rydell a homeschooled 14-year old who finds himself attending public school for the first time. Because of the novelty of this environment, the litany of new emotions gives way to supernatural abilities influenced by the volatile aspects of adolescence. Combined with an affinity for marital arts, comics, and video games, Rydell uses these new abilities to guide him through not only the throws of being a teenager, but life itself.
