pg 169 plot musings: god curses Cain [aka Cog] *literally* for behaving exactly like he does with his own sibling.

no wonder the church has historically been such big fans of "do as I say, not as I do"; they're just following the example set by their deity.

and then ofc like a page or so earlier, even God and Satan's mom is rocking the "because I said so" bullshit to defend bad choices/short-sighted & objectively cruel 'rules'.

to sum up: all gods are trash and unworthy of our devotion.
