Kokabi is the youngest in a line of shop workers that fill their own roles. She is a prodigy alchemist/chemist who finds her position boring and meaningless. Seeking a life of adventure, the youngest of the Vedettes begs her mother to give her a Chu (a race of being similar to animals) of her own to become a seasoned breeder.
With the help of her close friend Neolo Jumin, a boy from a clan of talented breeders, he trains her for a breeders contest that happens once every year in the hopes they can compete together. Theres only one small problem
