Jake's a young professional living the city life in the desolate year 2080. He's educated, single, and has a steady career. But when he makes an error at work, his comfortable lifestyle of condos and cubicles is suddenly gone as he finds himself unemployed, unable to pay rent, and homeless. Scrambling, he finds a way to make money and use whatever he can find to help him survive on the street. But just as he starts to build a new life and see the beauty in what's left of the world, he does the right thing at the expense of the wrong people. Now Jake's on the run, outnumbered, and hunted by a ruthless syndicate... with no choice but to use his survival instincts in the worst possible way. Scavenger is an original 101-page story written by me, with artwork also by me. I might consider illustrating more art to accompany and expand the story, because my goal is to develop this into a graphic novel and a feature film. If you enjoy it, I would appreciate if you would support my work by buying a copy, or paying what you can afford by donation. Thank you.
