This first chapter is good but the exposition page at the end seems pointless. why not explain the specifics of the Rune Symbol when the story enters full swing and the specifics become relevant? why have Rua be explained organically by Asuke to someone who doesn't know or in a flashback to Asuke so the explanation doesn't feel so odd. plus didn't you say that Rua kills people if they can't physically handle or have enough Rua to perform a spell because if you didn't narratively explain it here you'll have to do it later and in that case why hold off on explaining Rua until that point?
again I like the idea and can't wait to read more but that exposition could have been done in a better and more engaging way.
Honestly top 5 Newgen. Not just saying the because ND is a mutual on tiktok. His art and storytelling has come a long way. His tagline on TikTok is stuck in my brain tho 😭💙

Pretty good prologue. The manga so far isn't as bad as people on tiktok made it seem. Kinda reminds me of Beet the Vandle buster a little.
