Revolver was the name of my personal anthology project from 2005 to 2019. It featured short stories and longer works ranging from memoir and slice of life, to sci-fi and horror stories. With a peppering of strips gags and pinups.
There were several editions and issues, starting with a B&W zine version for One, then a color version of one threw to 4.
Then after signing an exclusive publishing deal for one of the stories serialized in 3 and 4, I pulled the last three issues and consolidated the bulk of the remaining content into a zero issue to wrap the series.
With Vol. Zero you’ll get a couple of short stories about my childhood, and the death & legacy of my father. A poetic ode to Tom Waits fans and barflies I misspent some of my youth with. There’s also Monster pinups and Comix Jam pages too!
Read this Volume to find out why Scott McCloud tweeted “Always liked Salgood Sam’s compositions–a bit delirious” about on A Bastards Tale. Mark Waid wrote that I'm "...one of the most interesting, unique voices in comics today".
