Enter the Grisly world of "Red Hunt", an alternate Earth filled to the brim with the monsters, myths, and the horrors of legend. In this dark mirror, mankind's only hope for survival came in the form of sanguine slayers, men and women with the power to morph into the monsters they hunt, dubbed "Blooders".
One such Blooder, Roone Adams, makes his home in the untamed western frontier. Where monsters harass settlers and natives alike. As a veteran of the recently ended civil war, Roone is content to live his life between monster hunts drunk on as much booze as possible. That is, until a former slave turned federal courier named “Slim” barges into Roones favorite watering hole with a new job.
