Issue 5
Rebel & the Wolves Volume 1 issue 6
“Unstable”
Short Synopsis
What begins as a quiet morning inside the Santos home quickly turns into chaos when Yari loses control. The mysterious power within him surges violently, distorting the environment, lifting objects, and cracking the structure of reality around him. As Yessica and Tadari Santos Jr. struggle to contain it, Yari panics and runs—taking the instability into the streets.
The disturbance spreads into public view, causing fear and confusion as the city witnesses something it can’t explain. At the center of it all, Yari becomes a walking disruption, his power growing faster than anyone can control.
Leigh Barringer is the first to step toward him without fear, trying to reach him through calm and presence—but it’s not enough. The situation escalates until Rebel arrives, placing himself between Yari and the chaos. Instead of force, he uses control—grounding Yari and pulling the energy back in before it can spiral further.
As the city settles and silence returns, the truth becomes undeniable: this is no longer hidden. Leigh now sees the reality behind the streets, and Yari is no longer just a child caught in something bigger—he’s becoming something dangerous.
And from his cell, Tadari Santos Sr. realizes the most important shift of all:
He’s no longer fully in control.
