Remember flipping through old magazines and getting sucker-punched by the weirdest ads? Hair-loss cures, CD clubs, sports supplements, dial-up hotlines, and “totally discreet” products nobody wanted to admit buying? Yeah—we brought that chaos back, only dirtier, funnier, and run through the AI blender until it feels too real.
REAL ADS MEET AI is a fake ad anthology presented like a lost newsstand insert from 1985–2005. Every page is a parody of the glossy spreads that used to beg for your allowance money: breakup movers, regret recycling, fake game consoles, Viagra knock-offs, and even a BMG-style CD scam for the streaming era. Between the ads, Ink Ritual’s fake “editorial” columns—Ritual Report and Dear Ink Ritual—answer readers’ dumbest questions with even dumber advice.
This isn’t just nostalgia—it’s satire turned up until the newsprint bleeds. It’s MAD Magazine and GamePro classifieds had a love child, raised on late-night TV commercials and AOL trial CDs.
Tone: vulgar, absurd, self-aware, and stupid-funny on purpose.
Format: magazine-style parody comic; one-shots, fake inserts, variant covers.
Tagline: “Pack. Purge. Blackout. Laugh.”
