Volume 1
The Trial of Eugene
In Volume 3: The Trial of Eugene, the afterlife court opens and Eugene Addison must face the truth of his choices.
Anubis takes charge of the court, death rites, judgement, consequence, and the weighing of truth. Thoth opens Eugene’s case file and cross-checks the record so no error becomes canon. Eugene enters as the only baboon in the Ra No Tabi universe, carrying the weight of love, fear, broken promises, and the strange dignity of an office worker who somehow ended up in divine court.
Deeba and BooBoo appear as the emotional heart of the trial, showing what Eugene loved and feared losing. Ava, Puppy, P.A., Tabby, and the wider Ra No Tabi family all become part of the testimony, not as a crowd of blame, but as evidence that love leaves light.
The court examines discipline, power, oath, harm, and regret. P.A.’s karate training shows that strength must become wisdom. Vicious Eugene reveals what happens when power outruns mercy. Puppy’s truth restores dignity after misused strength. Eugene takes the Non-Harm Oath, then faces the record of how he broke it.
Still, the court is not cruel. Even careful laughter is allowed, because a joke can hold a lesson.
At the end, Anubis gives a fair verdict: Eugene is not erased, not excused, and not abandoned. Thoth seals the record.
The journey continues.

🥜 Intelligent and Hilariously Insightful GlobalComix Note
Volume 3 is what happens when Egyptian mythology, family trauma, office admin, karate discipline, sacred comedy, and one very anxious baboon are all summoned into the same courtroom and nobody remembered to bring HR.
This is the volume where Ra No Tabi stops politely hinting and starts saying, “Lovely speech, Eugene, but the archive has screenshots.”
Anubis is not here for vibes.
Thoth is not here for gossip.
Puppy is not here to be underestimated.
Tabby is absolutely here to vandalize something important.
The Trial of Eugene is funny because truth is often ridiculous before it becomes wisdom. It is emotional because love does not cancel consequence. It is mythological because every mistake has a shadow, every oath has a price, and every heart eventually meets the scales.
This volume is free on Patreon as part of the free trilogy release, while the wider Ra No Tabi journey continues on GlobalComix. So read it, download it, share it, and maybe hurry before the salty gatekeepers notice that sacred comedy, Egyptian gods, baboon office drama, and Rainbow Arts Heka have escaped containment.
Volume 3 is not a lecture.
It is a divine audit with better lighting.
