Five years ago, Psypher hunted the terrorist known as Living Nightmare through a battle that lasted weeks. He finally trapped him, long enough for police to unmask and arrest him. Living Nightmare was revealed to be Mark Beauredin, a low level chemist at GL Motors. Psypher didn't survive the fight. He died on the spot, after twenty years protecting the people of New Steede City. He was revealed to be Jonathan Spade, a small time physics teacher from Ohio. His heroic work earned him a posthumous badge of honor. Five years later, New Steede City is under attack again. Monsters. The undead. Something crawling into people's dreams and staying there. A cloaked figure has been seen hunting the horrors stirring through the city. Rumors are spreading that Psypher is back. Beauredin is still in prison, so whatever's happening this time isn't his doing. Whoever's under the mask, they're the only thing standing between New Steede City and whatever's crawling out of the dark.
