There was once a scientist, who created elixirs that he called "power potions." He then later died. His death and his laboratory being looted left many questions unanswered. His inventions might be solution for peace or a recipe for the destruction of the world.
To me i feel like theres a bit in writing that you didn't notice, aka the potential. This explores a side of morality since the chaos here mostly relies on *who* has hands on the potions. Personally, both are bad since if used for good, morally it's good (obviously) ethically it is bad since the potions are literally made like what? 50 years ago? I doubt it'll help people's health now since there might be chemicals that would be recently researched as bad but idk I'm js yapping. You can expand on that idea cuz that's pretty interesting.
